Following a collaboration with Lamborghini informed by the automaker’s Huracán supercar, Swiss luxury watchmaker Roger Dubuis has teamed up with renowned performance tire company Pirelli for yet another automotive-inspired timepiece. This time opting for the brand’s famous Excalibur line, the new Roger Dubuis Excalibur Pirelli Ice Zero 2 pays tribute to Pirelli’s latest performance tire for extreme winter conditions.

Constructed in titanium, the case displays the material in its natural colors highlighted only by icy blue accents on the bezel, the seconds track on the dial, the hour and minute hands, and the oversized crown at 3 o’clock. Similar to the Lamborghini collab, the dial has been extensively skeletonized for an intricately engineered look, complemented by the Poinçon de Genève-certified astral skeleton 820SQ calibre movement. Completing the watch is an ICE ZERO 2 studded tire strap featuring Pirelli’s Cinturato pattern on the interior, as well as an additional bi-material black rubber strap with a contrasting blue rubberTech inlay, perfectly matching the rest of the timepiece.

For those interested, the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Pirelli Ice Zero 2 is now available, limited to only 28 examples made. Head over to the company’s website to learn more.
This latest addition to Roger Dubuis’ iconic Excalibur line was unveiled in Aspen in 2020. With its sporty aesthetics and famous Poinçon de Genève-certified astral skeleton signature (820SQ calibre), the Excalibur Pirelli Ice Zero 2 Spider America Edition comes in a limited edition of 28 pieces. The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Pirelli Ice Zero 2 owes its name to the new studded tyre of the Pirelli range: a tyre developed for high performance on ice in the most extreme winter conditions, similar to the ones that the guests experienced in Aspen. The new watch features a gleaming natural titanium case all offset by icy blue accents. It comes complete with a state-of-the-art ICE ZERO 2 studded tyre strap with Pirelli Cinturato intermediate pattern on the inside. Owners also received an additional bimaterial strap featuring a black rubber base and blue rubberTech inlay.
